WEAF POS System Requirements: What You Need Before Installing
Before you install WEAF POS, make sure your computer meets a few simple requirements. WEAF POS is a lightweight Windows application, so most modern shop computers and laptops run it comfortably.
Minimum requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
- 4 GB RAM or more
- 500 MB free storage
- Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 9.0 (x64)
- A network connection for tax sync and multi-till mode
The .NET Desktop Runtime
WEAF POS needs the Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 9.0 (the x64 desktop apps build). If it is missing you may see a message that dotnet is not recognised; simply install the runtime from Microsoft and launch the app again.
For multiple tills
If you plan to run several tills, one computer acts as the server (holding the company file) and the others connect to it over your local network. Allow UDP port 19500 for server discovery and TCP port 3306 for the database in Windows Firewall.
