Connecting Till Computers to Your WEAF POS Server
Running several tills means connecting each client computer to the WEAF POS server that holds your company file. WEAF POS makes this easy with automatic network discovery.
Prepare the server
On the server computer, switch WEAF POS to Multi-User Mode. This registers a background service that lets client tills find and connect to it.
Connect a client till
When a client till starts, it looks for the server automatically. If prompted, choose Scan Network to detect the server, then confirm to connect. If auto-scan fails, choose Configure Manually to enter the server IP, port and database credentials.
Keep connections reliable
Allow UDP port 19500 for discovery and TCP port 3306 for the database in Windows Firewall. If the router changes the server IP, run Scan Network again on the client to refresh the connection.
Frequently asked questions

Ensure the server is on and in Multi-User Mode, both computers are on the same network, and the firewall allows UDP 19500 and TCP 3306.
What if the server IP changes?
Click Scan Network on the client till to re-discover the server and save the new connection automatically.
