Weaf Point of Sale (POS) is one till, one stockroom and one set of books — for the shop, the wholesale store, the restaurant and the rooms upstairs. Turn on the parts you run; the rest stays out of the way.

It is a native Windows desktop application built on .NET 9 (C#/WPF). It runs offline on the local machine, so trading continues when the internet drops, and supports multi-terminal networked deployment over a shared MySQL database. Fiscal receipting is built in for URA EFRIS (Uganda) and MRA EIS (Malawi).

Retail & supermarket

A scanner, a drawer and a queue that keeps moving. Every item priced, taxed and counted: barcodes, departments and pack sizes on one catalogue, tax inside the price the way the shelf shows it, receipts fiscalised as the sale is rung up, and the drawer counted and signed off at the end of every shift. Suits supermarkets, retail shops, mini markets, wholesale and general trade.

Restaurant, bar & café

Take orders faster and manage the floor: table status, split bills and moving orders between tables, a kitchen screen that receives orders in real time, KOT printing and reprints, menu and category management, recipes, and a service board that flags the tables needing attention — food ready and not collected, items never sent to the kitchen, bills not settled. Dine-in, takeaway, delivery and room service.

Hotel & guest house

A full front desk: occupancy at a glance, room status and housekeeping, reservations and walk-ins, check-in and check-out, room types and rate plans, quotations, guest accounts, night audit and stay history. The bar and restaurant can charge straight to a room, so the guest settles once on departure. Suits hotels, guest houses, lodges and resorts.

One set of books

Whichever parts you run, the stock, the takings and the tax all move together. The Executive Insights dashboard shows the day's sales, profit, cash in drawer, outstanding debts, low stock and best sellers in real time.

Inventory and purchasing

Item management with units of measure and pack sizes, stock movement tracking, receiving vouchers and receiving history, stock and cost adjustments, inventory summary and valuation, best and worst sellers, vendor management, vendor statements and purchase returns.

Customers, cash and staff

Customer accounts with order history, statements, wallets and deposits. Cash register sessions with opening balances and register history. Expense entry and categories. Employee sales reports and time-clock staff attendance, with role-based access for cashiers, managers and admins.

Reporting

A Report Center covering sales, items, customers, purchases, inventory, financials and profitability — end-of-day and daily sales summaries, department reports, gross profit and profit & loss, and profit by product and category.

Tax integration

Fiscal receipting is built in, not bolted on. For Uganda the system files invoices to URA EFRIS; for Malawi it files to the MRA EIS. Compliant receipts are issued directly from the point of sale in either country, and the correct authority is selected from the company's configuration.
